Thank you for enrolling in courses and services at Econ With Thusitha (“we”, “us”, “our”). We strive to deliver high-quality educational content and support. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied, here is our refund policy.

1. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are only granted under the following conditions:

• Time limit: You must request a refund within [X] days of your purchase. (For example, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days — choose the period that fits your model.)

• Course not accessed / minimal use: The refund request should be made before substantial use of the course content (e.g. before more than one full lesson/module is accessed).

• Proof of purchase: You must provide evidence of purchase (receipt, order ID, transaction reference, email confirmation).

• Appropriate reason: You must state a valid reason for the refund (e.g. the course did not match description, technical issues that could not be resolved).

• One refund per customer: Each customer is eligible for a refund only once per course (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

2. Non-Refundable Items / Conditions

Refunds will not be given under the following conditions:

• After the refund period has expired.

• If you have completed a majority of the course (e.g. more than [e.g. 50%] of lessons).

• If you simply change your mind without justification.

• For free courses or promotional “free trial” content (since they are priced at zero).

• For add-ons, bonuses, or third-party services that may be bundled (unless explicitly covered).

• For technical or device issues caused by your own hardware, software, or internet connection (unless we fail to provide support and remedy).

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

1. Contact us in writing via email at info@econwiththusitha.com (or the contact email you prefer) with subject line “Refund Request – [Course Name] – Order #[Order Number]”.

2. Include the following information:

   • Your full name

   • Order number / transaction ID

   • Date of purchase

   • Course name(s) you wish refunded

   • Reason for refund

   • Any supporting evidence (screenshots, logs, etc.)

3. Our team will acknowledge receipt of your request within [e.g. 2 business days] and will process the request after evaluation.

4. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds will be processed within [X business days] of approval (for example, 5–10 business days).

• Refunds will be issued via the same payment method you used at purchase (e.g. credit card, PayPal, bank transfer), unless otherwise agreed.

• Please note that transaction fees, currency conversion costs, or bank/processor charges may be deducted (if applicable) and are not always refundable by payment providers.

5. Partial Refunds

In certain cases, a partial refund may be offered instead of a full refund. For example:

• If you have accessed a significant portion of the course but wish to withdraw.

• If you only wish to un-enroll from part of a bundled offering.

The amount will be determined based on the portion of content accessed and other reasonable criteria.

6. Revoking Access

Upon issuing a refund, we reserve the right to immediately revoke your access to the course materials, community groups, downloadable resources, and any associated benefits.

7. Disputes & Exceptions

• If you believe you are entitled to a refund outside the terms above, you may contact us at hello@econwiththusitha.com to discuss your case.

• We may refuse a refund request if we reasonably believe it to be fraudulent or abusive.

• This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under [applicable law in Sri Lanka / your jurisdiction], including consumer protection laws.

8. Changes to Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. The version posted on our website with the “Effective Date” is the governing version. Your continued use or purchase after changes signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
